The Tax Rate ballot language is confusing because it must be written this way. It says increase but your tax rate actually drops almost 8 cents. $8.5 million of this or 92% will happen either way.
Bottom Line
Vote For or Yes on ballot
State gets $8.5 million AND Plains keeps $600,000 for out kids
Vote Against or No on ballot
State still gets $8.5 million and Plains gets zero for our kids.
