Plains High School is excited to announce the Students of the Month for January, Chloa Bearden and Braylon Ward.
Chloa is the freshmen daughter of Cleve and Tessa Bearden. She participates in basketball, volleyball, and golf. Chloa also is a member of the UIL calculator and math teams. She likes to cook, and she volunteers at the First Baptist Church. Chloa plans to be an entrepreneur in opening up her own restaurant after attending culinary school. One of Chloa's teachers said that she is "very reliable in class and comes in prepared and ready to work. She has a heart of gold and is willing to help out whenever help is needed."
Braylon Ward is the junior son of Shannon and April Ward. He plays basketball, football and tennis. His hobby is playing Fortnite. His future plans are to attend college and go into the medical field. One of Braylon's teachers said that "Braylon is a leader in the halls and on the court. He is an asset to our campus."
We are proud of these students and their accomplishments. Plains High is happy to call them our Students of the Month! #plainsproud🖤💛
