Bio
I was born and raised right here in Plains where I worked on my family’s ranch. This is how I knew from a very young age I wanted a career in Agriculture. I attended South Plains College for two years before attending and graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Interdisciplinary Agricultural Education in 2005. From there, I spent my first year in Dalhart teaching Ag Science. I then taught at River Road in Amarillo from ‘06 to 2014. In 2014 I moved to San Antonio where I taught at East Central until 2019. I moved back to West Texas in 2019 where I taught at Ralls High School for a semester. I spent 2019-2020 at Seagraves High School after moving back to Yoakum County in 2019. I now live in my childhood home with the love of my life, Sandi where we’re living out our family legacies raising animals and our 5 children. I’m looking forward to helping grow the Agricultural Department that molded me into the Educator I am today.
