Plains ISD is standing with other local schools in support of Valley ISD's Paxton Barclay. Paxton, a first grader at Valley ISD, was given a DIPG diagnosis—a brain tumor that is inoperable. In an effort to raise awareness for Paxton, who is awaiting acceptance into either Cook Children's Medical Hospital or St. Jude's Hospital to conduct clinical trials, Valley ISD is contacting us and other nearby districts to join them on Wednesday, May 8th and wear hats to school. For a donation of $1 (or more), faculty and staff members will be able to wear a hat in support of the Barclay family's upcoming financial hardship. Plains lets show our support on Wednesday, May 8th!
