Plains High School is excited to announce the November Students of the Month, Mikala Armendaris and Jeremiah Gonzales.
Mikala Armendaris is the junior daughter of Raymond and Josie Armendaris. She is involved in basketball, tennis, track, and powerlifting. She also is a member of National Honor Society. Mikala plans to attend college and become a radiologist. One of Mikala's teachers said that "Mikala is a very hard worker and is a joy to have in class. Even if she is stressing over a test, she still has a smile on her face when she walks through the door."
Jeremiah is the junior son of Moses Gonzales and Angelica Gomez. He is a three time state cross country champion and plans to run cross country in college. Jeremiah also plays football and basketball. He wants to become a coach after college so that he can lead others like he has been led. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his friends and family. One of Jeremiah's teachers said that "he is a strong leader who works hard in and out of the classroom. He is also a kind person with a positive attitude."
We are proud of these two students, and we are happy to call them our Students of the Month! #plainsproud
