Plains High School is excited to announce its March Students of the Month, Libby Bell and Dylan Griffiths.
Libby is the sophomore daughter of Joshua and Lexi Bell. She participates in UIL academics, One Act Play, cheerleading, and is the news editor for the school newspaper, The Giddy-Up. Libby is also the sophomore class reporter. Libby's future plans are to attend Texas A&M and eventually go into the publishing business. One of Libby's teachers said that "she is a bright spot in the day. Her high level thinking combined with her fun personality makes a winning combination."

Dylan Griffiths is the son of Shayne and Rhonda Griffiths. A sophomore, Dylan plays football and tennis, and he is very involved in FFA. He has been successful in showing pigs and judging livestock. Dylan likes to spend time with his friends and family. He also enjoys playing video games. Dylan's future plan is to attend Texas Tech University to receive a degree in computer science. One of Dylan's teachers said that "Dylan is an excellent thinker and is a strong student. He is conscientious and dedicated to doing everything to the best of his ability. This is a rare trait, and he should be rewarded for his attitude and work ethic."
Libby and Dylan are great examples of excellence, and we are proud to call them our Students of the Month.
